Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, here's how we handle returns and exchanges.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in their original condition with all tags attached.

Checkout+ Orders

If you added Checkout+ ($2.95) to your order, returns and exchanges are free — no return shipping fees, no restocking fees. Simply contact us to start the process.

Standard Orders (Without Checkout+)

For orders placed without Checkout+, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return without tracking. A restocking fee may apply.

How to Start a Return

Email us at support@modestaboutique.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll respond within 1–2 business days with instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label.

Exchanges

Want a different size or color? Email us at support@modestaboutique.com and we'll help you get the right item. Exchanges are subject to availability.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged: swimwear (for hygiene reasons, unless defective), intimates, items marked as "Final Sale" on the product page, and gift cards.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@modestaboutique.com with photos of the issue. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you — regardless of whether you purchased Checkout+.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation, check with your bank or credit card provider first. If the issue persists, contact us at support@modestaboutique.com.
